About

Pierrepont Hicks is actually the name of the street cross section in Brooklyn Heights, where I grew up. In 2010, I decided to create a brand which represented a fashion my parents had in the 1980s. Starting with neckwear, I found that the Brooks Brothers factory in Queens was willing to work with me, and we launched a neckwear line in bright colors with meticulous details and accents. Then we grew to anoraks and parkas, made by Crescent Down in Washington. And finally landed here with accessories and footwear. I wanted it all to be made by people in the United States, and with materials that are non-toxic and sustainable. Still do.
